Team WCU Takes to the Streets for CHOC Walk 2017

Posted on 09/05/2017

A hardy group of West Coast University staff, students, faculty and alumni took to the streets at the Happiest Place on Earth this August to raise money for Children's Hospital-Orange County.

Team WCU joined the more than 12,000 people who walked and helped raise more than $2.3 million to help CHOC reach its goal of providing quality health care for the children of Orange County and its surrounding areas.

"WCU had 59 people who registered to walk and around 20 people actually came out at 5 a.m. on a Sunday to fight the crowd and enjoy such a moving and amazing event," Mary Sanchez, WCU clinical relations manager, said.
